The Dual Pixel 3D Converter software employs a unique algorithm to convert photos into highly realistic 3D images, including 3D models in OBJ or GLB formats, or MP4 videos with rich photographic textures. This innovation provides photographers with the ability to adjust the depth intensity, creating subtle or pronounced 3D effects. Additionally, the embedded depth information simplifies background removal, making it easier to isolate subjects and export them as 3D models or stereographic photos. A range of Canon mirrorless cameras equipped with Dual Pixel CMOS AF are compatible with this new feature, including the EOS R5 Mark II, EOS R5, EOS R6 Mark III, EOS R6 Mark II, EOS R7, EOS R8 Mark II, EOS R8, and EOS R10. To utilize Dual Pixel 3D, users will also need one of several compatible RF lenses, such as the RF24-70mm F2.8 L IS USM or the RF50mm F1.8 STM, among others.
